On Sunday, July 5th at 12:15PM, Orion Martial Arts will be stepping onto the stage at the San Diego County Fair for a special live demonstration of Tang Soo Do karate.
This 15-minute performance is a chance to share something we care deeply about, not just the techniques, but the discipline, structure, and spirit behind the art.
What We’ll Be Showing
The demonstration will center around a traditional Tang Soo Do form. Alongside that, you’ll see a range of experience levels, from newer students to more advanced practitioners demonstrating control and precision, giving you what martial arts training actually looks like day to day: steady progress, individual growth, and a shared standard everyone works toward.
Tang Soo Do on the Stage!
We are so excited to share the best of our students! Come and see how our Tang Soo Do community step outside the dojang and perform with confidence, represent the work they’ve put in over time, and experience being part of something bigger than their individual training!
For many, it’s their first time performing in front of a crowd. That alone is a meaningful step, so come along and share your support!
A Glimpse Into Tang Soo Do
For those unfamiliar, Tang Soo Do is a traditional martial art that emphasizes:
Discipline and respect
Precision in movement
Consistency over time
What you’ll see on stage is just a small window into that, but we couldn't be prouder of our performers.
Join Us at the Fair
If you’re attending the San Diego County Fair on July 5, come by and watch the demonstration at 12:15PM.
It’s a short performance, but it represents a lot of work behind the scenes—and a lot of pride from the students involved.
